Kids Introduction to Firearms was developed specifically to help educate any youngster ages 8 – 16 in the use or handling of a firearm.
Topics discussed in this class will include the following:
• National Safety Rules for any Firearm
• What should you do if you or your friends find/possess a firearm?
• Shooting as a sport
• Basic use & skill-sets
• Followed by a short session on Caliber Gun Range shooting with a Certified Instructor
WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
• Baseball hat
• No flip-flop or open toed shoes
• No tank or low cut tops
• Your parent or legal guardian present to authorize and sign our range waiver
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE CLASS?
• Classroom discussion and demonstration
• Ear and Eye protection
• Take-home folder for each student containing subjects covered in class
• Range time using a .22 caliber firearm under the supervision of a nationally certified safety officer.
